Although education is the primary goal of our schools, students face other challenges that will ultimately influence their future.  Some students try to figure out how to combine athletics with their studies.  Some with fragile self-esteems align themselves with groups that experiment with risky behaviors.  Some walk-in isolation because, for whatever reason, they don't “fit in.”

The Mentorship Program connects students with mentors who will always act in their best interest.  In addition to being a trusted friend and counselor, our mentors also interact with teachers, parents, coaches, student services and anyone else who can play a part in the support system that will be the foundation for a student's overall success.

Our SAT/ACT Preparation Program includes but is not limited to:

§ Helping student athletes understand which test will offer them the best opportunity for the highest score – or whether to take both – according to their individual strengths and weaknesses.

§ Teaching specific techniques to use when approaching each component of a test and how to narrow choices on multiple choice questions.

§ Providing practice tests that are similar to ACT and SAT tests in terms of the types of questions and the format.

Our goal is to empower all deserving students with the skills they need to “test to their potential” and the ability to take the tests with confidence.

We connect students with highly-qualified, local tutors who not only focus on the basics –  helping them with homework assignments and test preparation – but who also make sure that each student understands critical, underlying academic concepts.  Our tutors teach specific skills related to studying, completing assignments, taking tests, effective note-taking, time management and how to mentally store and remember information.  Just as importantly, our tutors help them learn how to cope with the stress and anxiety that are sometimes associated with a challenging academic environment.

Teens and young adults generally do not eat wisely.  They eat whenever they feel hungry and often grab whatever is most available at the time.  They are not overly concerned with choosing food that is a balance of carbohydrates, protein, healthy fat, vitamins, minerals and fluids.

“P2C Athlete Prep” has developed a Nutrition Program to help students stay healthy and learn how to “fuel” themselves throughout the day.  Our approach is three-fold.  We educate, provide and connect.

An athletic profile is one of the most important marketing tools a player can have.  It allows college coaches to quickly review key information about a player and make that critical decision whether the athlete is worth considering for recruitment.

The competition is tough.  Some studies suggest that Division I college football programs have databases that have over 5,000 prospective players.  Not every student athlete knows how to create a profile that will grab the attention of a busy coach or recruiter, and not every student athlete has the resources to invest in professional recruitment services.

We help student athletes create strong athletic profiles at a very low cost – profiles that emphasize their greatest skills and accomplishments to give them a competitive edge in the recruitment process.

Participating in a comprehensive sports program will improve an athlete's agility, speed, strength and endurance.  Just about every sport offers a sport clinic or camp, including – but not limited to – football, baseball, softball, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, ice hockey, tennis, track and volleyball.  They are designed to be a challenging and motivating environment that supplements a school's athletic program and provides school athletes with a stimulating, memorable experience.

Some student athletes also play on club teams throughout the year.  These teams are great ways to meet and compete with athletes on a state or regional scope.  Although skill development is included, the emphasis is on competition and developing a team's overall excellence.

We have developed the Sports Evaluation Program to help student athletes decide which program is best for them.  We offer a database of excellent opportunities that will help match an athlete with a program that is best suited for his or her specific skills and athletic goals.

Because sports clinics and camps can be very expensive, “P2C Athlete Prep” will guide athletes who have limited financial resources to programs that offer scholarships or sliding scale options.

A college visit is a student athletes opportunity to get a firsthand view of a college.  It allows for them to really get a feel for the college  by walking around the quad, sit in a class, and visit the dorms.  It allows a student athlete and their family to make an informed decision about a school by being able to talk to admissions and financial aid personal, talking to the dean of a particular area of study, and even talking to potential future classmates and teamates.

Not all colleges are able to pay for student athletes to come and visit.  Plus student athletes get seen by college coaches at different points in the recruiting process.  By being able to take student athletes on unofficial (academic visits), student athletes and their families will be able to make a more informed dceision about their college choice and help in minimizing the transfer rate for these students.

Many student athletes are identified as potential student athletes by college coaches when attending sporting events, camps, and showcases.  Not ever student athlete's family has the means to support attending these extracuricular activities that are offered outside of the scholastic school year.

By being able to livestream local camps, clinics, and showcases that we sponsor, P2C Athlete Prep is now able to take these disadvantaged student athletes performances and make them available to every college coach in america.  This allows our student athletes a level playing field and makes participation a more affordable option.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to inspire and empower today's youth to change their world.

Through athletics and education, our goal is to make our program accessible to anyone, anywhere.  We'll equip at-risk youth and others with the skills and tools they need to create change in their communities.

Military Family College Readiness Program

The National Military Family Association states that “the average military child will attend as many as nine schools before they graduate from high school.” Military families worry about how moving will affect a student’s education or how to support them through emotional fallouts from losing friends again. Couple this with a student athlete who now has to “prove” themselves yet again to a new coach and teammates, and you have a recipe for disaster if not handle correctly.

High School Development Program

The Mentorship Program connects students with mentors who will always act in their best interest.  In addition to being a trusted friend and counselor, our mentors also interact with teachers, parents, coaches, student services and anyone else who can play a part in the support system that will be the foundation for a student's overall success.

Mentorship Programs:  Rising Stars / College Bound Programs

“Attrition and Dropout Rates in Texas” (released on October 31, 2017), Texas is losing one out of four students. The state attrition rate of 24 percent is down from 25% in 2016. This is good news. It reflects a steady improvement in the educating young Americans. However – the same research shows that in 2016-2017, Texas high schools lost 99,960 students. It further shows that Black and Hispanic students are two times more likely to drop out than White students. This number does not include the marginal students who are underperforming and are not on the best path to succeed academically. As a nation, we cannot afford to lose the talents, skills, innovative ideas and dreams of even one student.

Community Outreach Programs

Investment in ones local community goes a long way to making meaningful realationships and change.  Building a strong community ensures the future success of that community and allows the residences to grow, become, be engaged, and to make an impact.  "A unit is only as strong as its weakest link!"  Building a strong communities strengthes entire cities and state.
